Course syllabus
SCholastic Updates Linked Professional Training (SCULPT) the Executive Development Program offered at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth is aimed at training the teachers of the school and higher education sectors. The postgraduate scholars in any discipline with two years of teaching experience are eligible to apply for this program.
Program highlights:
The program enables the participants to be trained in the following areas:
Educational technology – To create “The teacher expert”
Training on teaching-learning methods including online teaching, assessment, and curriculum development.
Communication & counseling skills – To create “The empathetic mentor”
Training on communication skills, mentoring, providing effective feedback, and counseling.
Leadership & team-building skills – To create “The team leader”
Training on enhancing leadership skills by owning responsibilities, team development, and managing skills and team etiquette.
Change management – To create “The administrative expert”
Training to assess, prepare, plan, implement, and sustain the changes evolving in related sectors by effective and efficient management of resources.
Personality development – To create “The successful person”
Training on time, stress and conflict management, professionalism, and building educational scholarship for successful career enhancement.
Essential Healthcare & Nutrition – To create “The health expert”
Training on basic hygiene, healthcare and nutrition, advanced biology, and common diseases and disorders.

Working hours:
Each module:
Theory – 2 hrs per week X 8 weeks = 16 hrs (1 credit)
Self-learning & practice – 8 hrs per week X 8 weeks (including 4 weeks of theory) = 64 hrs (2 credits)
Open elective (parallel activity)
Any scholarly activity in any one of the six domains – 8 hrs X 8 weeks = 64 hrs (2 credits)
Evaluation & completion:
Theory – Assignment (grade point X 1credit)
Self-learning and practice – Portfolio (grade point X 3 credits)
Scholarly activity – (grade point X 2 credits)
Completion criteria – 80% attendance and minimum 50% grade points for completion.
